Intervals - Run hard now pays big dividends

Published by admin | Filed under Chicago 2007

This morning Brian, Scott and I met at the track. We ran 6 x 800 meter intervals at 6:20 mpm pace. We rested 1:30 minutes between intervals. The last two intervals were brutal. I don’t think I could have run another interval at that pace. It was all I could do to keep my legs from buckling.

The theory is that these intervals will pay off on October 7th with a fast marathon time. Hopefully a Boston Qualifying time.
