13 mile long run

Published by admin | Filed under Chicago 2007

It was a humid run this morning.  I ran 13 miles at 7:57 mpm average pace.  I was hoping on running marathon pace of 7:25 mpm pace this morning but the humidity slowed me down.  According to the FIRST training schedule, I supposed to run 7:40 mpm.

Running in the humidity caused me feet to be damp from sweat.  This dampness caused a blister on my big toe.  I haven’t developed a blister on my feet in about 8 years.

In the mail yesterday I received  my Team WorldVision running jersey.  It is a very nice tech shirt with a great orange and blue design.  I wore it on my long run today.

Please supprt my fund raising for WorldVision Chicago Marathon 2007 by clicking on the link to the right of this web site.  Thank you in advance.
